Join us for an evening of celebration and reflection of African-American entrepreneurship in Los Angeles. Hear from historian and author, Dr. Alison Rose Jefferson and pick up an autographed copy of her latest book, “Living the California Dream: African-American Leisure Sites During the Jim Crow Era.” And no history of LA entrepreneurship would be complete without remembering Biddy Mason, whose story will be shared by Jackie Broxton, Executive Director of The Biddy Mason Foundation.
