On Friday, September 25th, 2009, Foundation for Second Chances, a non-profit organization which utilizes hands-on education, mentoring, health awareness and community service to maximize the potential of youth will be holding its 1st Annual Leadership Awards Gala in Los Angeles. The event will bring together a diverse group of 150-200 business and community leaders at The Proud Bird in Los Angeles for a relaxed evening of cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, dinner and education about our important work.
FFSC has been changing lives and building futures for children, youth and families in Los Angeles since 2004. FFSC programs show how afterschool, mentoring, health awareness and community service programs can have an impact on youth. Not only do FFSC's programs enhance young peoples' attitudes about themselves and their futures, but FFSC's programs increase academic achievement and decrease delinquent behavior. Foundation for Second Chances is committed to delivering programs that change lives and build futures.
